I would recommend this to people looking for a great fantastical adventure. Full of magic and myths Bracken has proven herself to be a well-versed and lyrical author with BRIGHTLY WOVEN. But sixteen year old weaver Sydelle Mirabel does not know that. It tells the story of Sydelle, a girl who leaves with her family in a isolated village, suffering a 10 year drought. Well, guys, I'm happy to say that Brightly Woven did all this for me and more. Well, BRIGHTLY WOVEN met all of those demands--and totally exceeded them. Brightly Woven was recommended by Andye (ReadingTeen.net). I may or may not be a liiiittle bit obsessed with North, and I may or may not want to move into the amaaaazing world that Alex has created.
